Bomb Blast

Welcome to BOMB BLAST! A game created by John Cervantes for DMD 2542

A young bomb looks up to the sky and longs to fly. Fulfill your dreams and explode through the air, little bomb! Weave through spikes, bounce on trampolines, and collect Sparks to fuel your explosions!

~GAMEPLAY~

This game is a sidescrolling platformer, where your goal is to reach the flag at the end of the level.

You play as a bomb that can roll left or right. Collect glowing Sparks scattered throughout each level to be able to dash.

DASHING

Hold the dash button (detailed in the Controls section) to slow down time and begin charging up a dash.

You'll see an arrowhead begin rotating around you, starting at your right side.

Release the dash button once the arrow is in your desired direction, and you'll explode at high speed in that same direction!

But watch out, you can't dash if you don't have any Sparks. Be resourceful with your dashes!

SKINS

Want to look spiffy? You can unlock three other skins in addition to the default Bomb skin:

- The Rage Bomb

- The Dancing Creature

- The Asteroid Alienoid

~CONTROLS~

KEYBOARD:

Use WASD or Arrow keys to navigate menus and roll left or right, and use Spacebar to confirm / dash.

You can also use the mouse button to click on buttons and dash.

CONTROLLER:

Use the left stick to navigate.

For Playstation controllers, use the left face button to confirm / dash, and the right face button to pause.

For Xbox controllers, this may be reversed.

Credits for various sound effects and BGM are included in the game in the "Credits" menu. You can also reset your save data there if you'd like.
